Monday, October 16 – 8.00am-9.30am
Canada continues to face a challenging economic outlook. In particular, interest rate hikes and rising inflation have
put considerable pressure on Canadian households. This pressure, in turn, affects small business owners who must
find a way to sell, compete, survive and thrive despite this environment. Being aware of the headwinds the Canadian
economy is facing — and understanding the forecast for the future — can help owners prepare, adapt and potentially
pivot their businesses for ongoing success, even during challenging times.

Do you or your business want to engage in reconciliation, however, are unsure where or how to start? Perhaps you
want to deepen your understanding of reconciliation and why it’s needed? Or maybe your business is starting its
journey on equity, diversity and inclusion? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we invite you to join us to
learn about the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada and its 2015 report containing 94 Calls to Action. This
session will focus on Call to Action #92 – Business and Reconciliation.

loyalty, and make an optimal impact on society, all while doing business. Social Purpose is the application of a new
lens on all your business activities that offers clarity for decision-making – especially in tumultuous times – and
