Exciting Times for Tourism Cowichan……

It is an exciting time for Tourism in Cowichan.  Now, more than ever, they have the ability to create innovative campaigns that will enable you/us in the region to reach a large audience. To promote our destination, the Tourism Cowichan Society (TCS) has launched an exciting new brand.  Check out the benefits of becoming a stakeholder and sign up for FREE here: http://promotecowichan.com/join/ .  Then read on to discover the opportunities that are available to you.  They look forward to driving more business to your door.

Here are some of the highlights they have been working on to promote you:

” 1.A fresh and improved Cowichan Vacation Guide – Tourism Cowichan will print 45,000 copies of the completely redesigned 48-page magazine for rack distribution throughout BC Ferries, Island and mainland Visitor Information Centres. It will  be available at over 50 hotels and attractions in Victoria and throughout Vancouver Island, distributed at events and trade shows, and mailed out to qualified travellers on request.

2.  An experience based and consumer driven website -.The Tourism Cowichan website has been fully revamped and will be launching in January.  Traffic to the site will increase exponentially over 2017 as we connect to major tourism associations and engage in a full social media program that drives to the Tourism Cowichan site.  Take a sneak peek of the new website that is still under construction http://www.tourismcowichanstakeholder.ca/

Check out the promotional advertising opportunities for both print and web here (sales deadline is Jan. 13, 2017): http://promotecowichan.com/wp-content/uploads/TourismCowichan_AdSalesKit_012.pdf

3.  There will be a major focus on our social media channels and using them as a promotional tool representing Cowichan and our Stakeholders. We will increase engagement from existing customers and connections, and draw in new audiences – ultimately driving engagement through both organic & paid activity. We encourage stakeholders to take advantage of our extended presence by linking, tagging, or mentioning us in your posts using @TourismCowichan or #explorecowichan so that we can see and share your events, specials, news, and products/services.”
