Ladysmith Community Engagement Workshop

Join a two part community workshop facilitated by Lacey McRae Williams of the Ladysmith Public Arts Strategy. We are currently in the process of collecting information and inspiration from the community of Ladysmith regarding public arts. This is your chance to get involved. PART ONE of this workshop will be Defining Public Arts in Ladysmith & District — What do you define as public arts, how do you think public arts can define the community as a whole. We will also include a progress update on what we have collected so far as well as an overview of the public arts strategy. If you are unfamiliar with the arts strategy this is a great way to get caught up!PART TWO, we will be looking at setting public arts priorities for Ladysmith & District, identifying key locations and exploring partnerships and funding. Everyone is welcome!Snacks and refreshments will be served throughout the workshop.
