The Duncan Cowichan Chamber will be launching a Dine About Cowichan program, similar to the Nanaimo Chamber’s Dine About Mid-Island program in 2016. They are moving forward with this 2017 Dine Cowichan program as a result of positive response from the restaurant community. Tourism Cowichan has also indicated they can provide some of the branding for the marketing of the program to the public. Depending on how many restaurants come on board, they may also enhance the program with a Dine and Stay in Cowichan component which they will promote in Victoria and other island communities.
This is a regional program where all restaurants in the Cowichan Valley can participate (members or non-members of any Chamber). You will note in the attached Participant Toolkit, that there is special pricing for members of the Ladysmith Chamber. Our Chamber will be provided a referral fee ($25 per restaurant) when a restaurant member is referred and participates in the program.
For all Ladysmith Chamber Members who participate, the Ladysmith Chamber will Purchase a Gift Certificate in the referral amount of $25 to be used for further promotion at a future Chamber event.
It is their goal to have 20 restaurants participate. We encourage our community restaurants to participate.
