Economic Development Cowichan is in the process of preparing an Economic Development Strategic Plan. The plan will assess the region’s economic outlook, identify opportunities to further develop traditional and emerging economic sectors, review constraints to development, and identify priorities and define actions that can be undertaken by Economic Development Cowichan and others to build a stronger, more resilient regional economy.
Lions Gate Consulting and Qatalyst Research Group have been engaged by the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) to assist in preparing the strategy.
We need your input! We are conducting a survey of businesses and other organizations operating in the Cowichan region to learn more about the key challenges you face and identify actions that should be taken to address these challenges over the next five years. Any information that you provide will be kept confidential, used only to develop the strategy, and reported only in summary form with the responses of other participants.
