LaFF:  Breakfast with Santa – Silent Auction Donations.  Once again LaFF, together with the Ladysmith Rotary Club and the Town of Ladysmith, will be hosting the annual Breakfast with Santa.  For the past ten years, LaFF has had the pleasure of hosting Breakfast with Santa as a way of saying thank you to all the families and community members who support us all year.  It is one of the most anticipated, and well attended, community events for families with children and has a way of getting everyone in the holiday spirit.  This year’s event is set for Saturday December 5th, 2015 at Aggie Hall.  Families will be treated to a wonderful pancake breakfast courtesy of the Ladysmith Rotary, entertainment, crafts, and of course Santa himself will be there for photos, courtesy of CB Photography.

Ladysmith Family and Friends (LaFF) is an accredited member of the Association of Family Resource Programs of BC and is supported through federal and provincial grants, community foundations, business, and personal contributions.  It is getting harder each year to secure funding and the amounts received are decreasing.  As part of Breakfast with Santa we hold a silent auction, and this is fast becoming our largest fundraising event of the year.  This is where we need your help.

Please consider contributing an item to the silent auction. This can be in the form of gift certificates, services or items.  Some items that have been part of past silent auctions include: SeaLegs Kayaking gift certificate, gift baskets, handcrafted wooden furniture and Mary Fox Pottery. The silent auction brings in shoppers year after year, looking to complete some unique Christmas shopping.  All donors will receive exposure as donor names will be listed at the silent auction table throughout the event.  In addition, we are happy to display any promotional material you wish to provide. Laff is a registered charitable organization and can provide tax receipts on donations received.

If you wish to donate, or have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me on the email address listed below. Thank you for considering donating an item to support LaFF’s work.  Sincerely,  Kirsten Carlos.  Email:breakfastwithsanta@familyandfriends.ca
