It was a small but very festive group that joined us for the Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce Christmas Social on Wednesday, Dec. 17th. Particularly cheerful were the three charities who received some donation cheques made possible by the overwhelming success of the Chamber Golf Tournament in June. Accepting donations of $1000 each was Ray Delcourt of the Ladysmith Fire Department, Jacquie Neligan & Colin Knecht of LAFF, and Darcey Bouvier of Ladysmith Victims Services. The Chamber Board, staff, and members would like to thank Cottonwood for their kind hospitality. A great evening was enjoyed by all.
