Every year during BDC Small Business Week^TM, we recognize Canadian entrepreneurs and small and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs) from coast‑to‑coast. During the third week of October each year, we take a step back to take stock of the important role they play in creating overall prosperity. This is of even greater importance in times of economic instability.
