Kids Art Class: Create a Monster Clay Cup

Children aged 6-12 years old create their own clay monster cup with celebrated artist Karen Dance!
In this kids’ clay workshop, participants will learn about the process of handbuilding a functional piece of pottery. They will learn how choices they make with shapes, texture, and detail can give a unique personality to their creations, and the class will foster confidence and creative self-expression under the guidance of experienced educator and celebrated artist, Karen Dance. Students will create a fun and infinitely loveable character cup to be proud of. After a lunchbreak, they will add additional details and colour to their pieces. Karen will fire and glaze each masterpiece, and we will notify you when it’s ready for pickup.
