BC Family Day Event

The Town of Ladysmith in conjunction with our community partners have organized free activities for the entire family to move, get creative, and most of all, have fun together as you celebrate Family Day.
On Monday, February 19, 2024, Ladysmith Parks, Recreation & Culture (PRC) will host two free Family Day swim sessions at the Frank Jameson Community Centre.
Session 1 is 12:00 p.m-1:30 p.m. and Session 2 will be from 2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Enjoy access to the main pool, therapy pool, diving board, climbing wall and slides.
PacificSport Vancouver Island and PRC staff are offering planned activities from 12:00 p.m. -3 p.m. in the FJCC Gym focusing on family, inclusivity, physical activity and physical literacy.
During the event, Ladysmith & District Arts Council will be in the lobby distributing take home art kits. Pick up a package and continue the fun when you arrive home.
Make sure to grab some healthy to-go snacks before you leave to help replenish your energy.
