The GIRLS NIGHT OUT show is back and bursting onto the scene on June 14th and 15th 2024 at the Ladysmith Eagles Hall. Filled to the brim with familiar tunes, and guaranteed to have everyone singing and dancing along, the GIRLS NIGHT OUT event will be a great night out for everyone to enjoy.
Written by Ann McInulty-Gogo and Brenda Clarke, GIRLS NIGHT OUT is about three long-time best friends who grew up together in Ladysmith. And even though their lives have taken them far away from each other, they’ve managed to carve out a few hours to reunite in Ladysmith and catch up. And they do so with laughter, music and love. GNO was first performed last June at Cedar Community Hall and was a very successful fundraiser for YPD theatre group.
Director and producer Brenda Clarke says, “this show was a pure joy to produce and perform last year, and I’m very pleased to host show again this year, along with musical friends Ann McInulty-Gogo and Susan Warner. All funds raised are being donated to Ladysmith Arts CAPITAL CAMPAIGN and Eagles YOUTH SPORTS Program for boys and girls.“ Also, many thanks to 49th Parallel Printers for their support printing programs, posters & promo cards.
Audience participation is encouraged and song lyrics will be projected onto a screen so everyone can sing along with their favourite melodies. And whenever the disco ball is flashing, everyone is invited to get up on their feet and dance. Seating at tables is first-come first served, so arrive early for good seats and enjoy our cash bar for drinks, desserts, and snacks.
GIRLS NIGHT OUT will be performed at the Ladysmith Eagles Hall, 921 First Avenue on Friday, June 14th @ 7:30pm and Saturday, June 15th @ 7:30pm. Tickets are only $25 and can be purchased at Eagles bar downtown or at www.ladysmith.ca/event-details/girls-night-out .
