Chamber Business Mixer

You’re Invited to Our Next Chamber Business Mixer!
Come out and connect with fellow Chamber Members for a relaxed and welcoming evening of networking, conversation, and community. Business Mixers are a great way to build new relationships, reconnect with familiar faces, and discover opportunities to collaborate and support one another.
Our hosts — the Ladysmith Community Fund Society and the Ladysmith Little Theatre — will be sharing this event with their own networks, and Chamber Members are encouraged to bring a guest, making this a wonderful opportunity to expand your reach, meet new faces, and learn more about the important work both of these valued non-profit members are doing in our community.
Feel free to bring a door prize to showcase your business — it’s a great way to introduce your products or services, create visibility, and leave a lasting impression. And don’t forget your name tag and plenty of business cards!
Let’s mix, mingle, and make meaningful connections!

About Our Host: Ladysmith Community Fund Society
Founded in 2020, the Ladysmith Community Fund Society (LCFS) was created to establish a perpetual endowment fund dedicated to supporting the Ladysmith community. In partnership with the Nanaimo Foundation, LCFS manages a growing fund that provides annual grants to local charities through investment earnings.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, grants have been distributed to local organizations over the past three years — with the goal of building a lasting legacy of support for Ladysmith. Donations and bequests help grow the fund to ensure long-term impact for our community.
LCFS gratefully acknowledges that its work takes place on the traditional territory of the Stz’uminus First Nation.
About Our Host: Ladysmith Little Theatre
The Ladysmith Little Theatre is a true community cultural hub built on vision, volunteerism, and heart. Founded in 2003 by Judi and Terry Whittaker, the theatre transformed the historic Diamond Crossing School (built in 1912) into the vibrant performance space it is today.
From its early renovations completed by dedicated volunteers in just six weeks, to purchasing the building in 2012, Ladysmith Little Theatre has grown through the passion and commitment of its members. Every production is powered entirely by volunteers — actors, crew, set designers, technicians, and front-of-house teams — all working together to provide quality, accessible theatre for Ladysmith and surrounding communities.
With ongoing upgrades, wheelchair accessibility improvements, and a beautiful exterior mural, the theatre continues to thrive as a welcoming space where creativity and community come together.
