Donna Hais is a dynamic leader on Vancouver Island. As Owner and CEO of the Bob Wall group of companies, she’s built businesses in construction, land development, and healthcare, including a major hospital campus project in Nanaimo. Beyond her business success, she has served as Board Chair of the Nanaimo Port Authority, President of the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, and Chair of the Fair Care Alliance. Her experience gives her a unique perspective on how business and community interests intersect. For Ladysmith’s small business community, her work with Fair Care Alliance highlights how access to equitable healthcare and community services strengthens the workforce, supports families, and creates the conditions where small businesses can thrive.

Donna Hais, Bio
Donna Hais is the Owner and CEO of a family group of companies under the Bob Wall banner.
R.W. (Bob) Wall Ltd. is their flagship company, working in the construction industry throughout
Vancouver Island. Other companies under this banner focus on land development and healthcare,
including the development of a comprehensive Hospital Campus in Nanaimo.
Donna serves as the Board Chair of the Nanaimo Port Authority from 2024-present and previously 2019-
2023. She has served as President of the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce and the Nanaimo Executive
Association and the. Donna is the Community Liaison for the Medical Staff Association, a Nanaimo
Hospital Foundation Board member and Chair of the Fair Care Alliance. Donna also sits at the Mayor’s
Leader Table. In 2014, Donna was awarded the Community Leader of the Year.
