DESCRIPTION:We we’re back in Ladysmith for 2026 for a Trail Series classic. Experience some of Ladysmith’s best trails through Holland Creek and Heart Lake\, and enjoy an amazing summertime BBQ at Transfer Beach right on the waterfront of Ladysmith. \n\n\nREGISTER\nJuly 4\, 2026\n\n\nTransfer Beach\, Ladysmith\, BC\n\n\n\n\n\nMaking your way past the boat launch and past the washrooms. We’ll be set up in the field near the play ground. \n***Please note that dogs are not permitted at Transfer Beach*** \n\n\n\n\nGOOGLE MAP\n\n\n\n\nKIDS RACE – 10:15 AM\n\n\n\n~1k\nRegistration fees for the kid’s race go towards the Cowichan Valley Trailblazers Society.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLONG COURSE – 10:30 AM\n\n\n\n~20k\n680m Vertical Gain\n2 Aid Stations\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSHORT COURSE – 11:00 AM\n\n\n\n~10k\n280m Vertical Gain\n1 Aid Station\n\n\n\n\n\nPARKING\n\n\n\nThere is ample parking at Transfer Beach Park. \nCarpool if you can\, save space on parking\, save fuel\, and hang out with your trail running friends! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBIB PICK UP\n\n\nYou are required to show a government-issued photo ID to get your race bib – No exceptions. Passport\, driver’s licence\, hunting licence\, etc. all work! \nPick up your bib from the registration tent in the field. \nTo ease congestion\, bib pick up times are staggered. \n\nLong Course participants: 9:00am – 10:00am.\nShort Course participants: 9:45am – 10:30am.\nKids Race: 9:00am – 10:00am.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAID STATIONS\n\n\nThere is one aid station for the short course and two for the long course. We’ll have water\, Gatorade\, fruit\, chips\, pickles\, and our usual spread of snacks. \nOur events are cupless! Please bring something to drink from!
