BC Chamber of Commerce
The BC Chamber of Commerce has created a page of resources for Businesses affected by COVID-19. Resources include: Access to Capital, Taxation Relief for Businesses, Wage Subsidy Programs, Employment Insurance & Emergency Benefits for Workers and B2B Support from Private and Crown Corporations (BC Hydro, Fortis BC, etc.).

In partnership with the Government of Canada, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce established the Canadian Business Resilience Network to help Canadian businesses navigate the COVID-19 reality and prepare for recovery. This site and a supporting campaign will continue to grow in the weeks and months ahead as we work together to support and protect our businesses, our communities and our economy.

Small Business BC
SBBC has developed a COVID19 Resource page, which includes a range of support tools including. We recommend joining their Digital Meet-Up, a video call group for the small business community during COVID-19 to help share challenges and solutions. They also have resources for Creating a Crisis Plan, which includes a downloadable Business Continuity & COVID19 Small Business Checklist that small businesses can use to help minimize the impacts of COVID19 on their employees and operations.

The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is actively monitoring the status of COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and will take appropriate precautions as necessary.
The CVRD is continuing to follow the advice of the Public Health Agency of Canada, the British Columbia Provincial Health Officer and the BC Centre for Disease Control. Our focus is on maintaining essential service levels and following the advice of public health officials.
