Community Futures Central Island:  FALL BUSINESS LOANS APPLICATION INTAKE TAKING PLACE NOW!  Community Futures Central Island provides repayable funding to local, rural small businesses for working capital, equipment purchase or lease, and business purchase or expansion. Pan-West Community Futures 2015-2016 Summary shows that the BC CF offices handed out loans to 626 rural business at a value of $30,184,573, creating or sustaining 1921 jobs. Now that is something to be crow about. We’re gearing up for the next intake of business loan applications. Festival of Lights:  Help support the Festival of Lights by donating your 49th Parallel Receipts.  Put the date aside if you can make it to our work party on Sunday Nov. 6.  9am in the upper 49th Parking Lot.  Call 250-245-5888.  The more volunteers we have the easier it is for everyone to get finished early.  Pick up or drop off your Parade Entry forms at the Chamber office.  You can also get the last of the Festival of Lights t-shirts at the Chamber office too!
