DESCRIPTION:The Town of Ladysmith in conjunction with our community partners have organized free activities for the entire family to move\, get creative\, and most of all\, have fun together as you celebrate Family Day. \nOn Monday\, February 19\, 2024\, Ladysmith Parks\, Recreation & Culture (PRC)  will host two free Family Day swim sessions at the Frank Jameson Community Centre. \nSession 1 is 12:00 p.m-1:30 p.m. and Session 2 will be from 2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m.   Enjoy access to the main pool\, therapy pool\, diving board\, climbing wall and slides. \nPacificSport Vancouver Island and PRC staff are offering planned activities from 12:00 p.m. -3 p.m. in the FJCC Gym focusing on family\, inclusivity\, physical activity and physical literacy. \nDuring the event\, Ladysmith & District Arts Council will be in the lobby distributing take home art kits.  Pick up a package and continue the fun when you arrive home. \nMake sure to grab some healthy to-go snacks before you leave to help replenish your energy. \nThe Town gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Province of British Columbia to help support these activities. \nFor the latest news and updates\, visit the Town’s website at www.ladysmith.ca\, as well as Facebook\, Twitter and Instagram.

SUMMARY:Ladysmith Lions Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt
DESCRIPTION:This FREE Public event is open to all Ladysmith and district families. The Lions Club members\, with the assistance of the members of the Ladysmith 257 Squadron Cadets\, will distribute individually wrapped mini chocolate eggs around the play structure and grassed area south of the play structure. Children 8 years and up will meet the Easter Bunny at approx. 10:45 AM and the Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10:30am to noon.
