DESCRIPTION:Are your kids looking for some creative and adventurous fun this spring break? Prepare to explore watery worlds in these ocean adventure themed art classes that takes place over 4 days. Best suited for children aged 6-12 years\, stories will be told as they learn about drawing\, painting and collage and incorporate it into a number of projects. This class will take place in person\, there are limited spaces available so book your spot(s) soon. Following COVID 19 procedures each student must wear a mask while in the building to protect staff\, other students and the instructor\, hand sanitation is provided and each student is spaced apart accordingly. \nReady to go on a sea adventure and learn new art techniques? SUMMARY:To Rhyme of Not to Rhyme
DESCRIPTION:Meet your inner poet! Join local poet in residence John Edwards in a workshop that is open both to poets and to those who would like to try the art of poetic composition in a supportive weekly seminar. At each meeting\, John will give a brief talk about a writing style or method and illustrate this with a poem of his own. Participants will then\, if they would like\, read a draft of an original work aloud for us to discuss and appreciate. There is no wrong way to make poetry; but the ears of others can be very helpful to create a finished piece. It is not necessary to rhyme; but sometimes this will reinforce the sense. Some topics covered will be: writing metaphorically\, writing from personal experience\, and writing like somebody else for practice. \nCome together on Zoom and explore literary arts\, a great workshop for adults and teens! \nQuestions about this class?
