DESCRIPTION:The Town of Ladysmith has organized plenty of fun activities to keep the entire family moving as you celebrate Family Day with loved ones.\nMake a splash on the holiday Monday\, February 15 and register to visit the Frank Jameson Community Centre with your family bubble for an Everyone Welcome swim.\nFour sessions of 45 minutes each are being offered with swim times at 11:30 am\, 12:30 pm\, 1:30 pm\, and 2:30 pm. Limited spots are available due to COVID-19 protocols.\nReserve your spot in advance by calling the FJCC Reception Desk at 250.245.6424.\nWe treasure our families! SUMMARY:Create Your Own Clay Selfie
DESCRIPTION:So you want to take a selfie? In this fun online class\, join instructor Lee Stead as she walks you through every step as you create a fun and surprising standing replica of yourself from the shoulders up. Hair\, maybe a hat or glasses\, a cat curled around your shoulders\, wings\, or anything that says “this is me!” can be added. Let’s have fun with clay! \nClay and firing is included\, and you can paint the finished project at your leisure after the firing. Open to ages 10 years and up\, $33 \nParticipants will pick up the clay on February 11 from 444 Parkhill Terrace in Ladysmith\, build their selfies together at home over Zoom\, then snap their creations back to be fired by the instructor.
