ROBSON O’CONNOR:  We continue to develop our business to provide professional services to the Ladysmith area and beyond. With that in mind, we recently added a new attorney to our staff.  Martin Sanderson.  Martin attended the University of British Columbia where he obtained a B.A. in psychology and philosophy.  Read more about Martin here.

THE LADYSMITH GOLF CLUB SOCIETY will hold it’s Annual General Meeting on Sunday April 30, in the Clubhouse at 2pm.  Special Business will include the adoption of a revised Constitution.  You may view the revised Constitution and the old Constitution at the clubhouse from April 1 to April 30 between the hours of 10am and 4pm.  Everyone welcome to come out and see what we’ve got planned for 2017.

MAIN STREET YARN:  We have two new knitting teachers! Willina is coming to us from Steveston and is ready to teach “finishing Techniques”, a Block of the Month class and a shrug. Lynn will be teaching a lacy shawl and taking over store duties on Wednesdays. Always something going on. Drop by and take a look at our new products or sign up for a class.

LAFF:  Upcoming Garage Sale in support of LaFF programming to be held on Sat, Apr 29th from 8:00am-1:00pm.  This sale will be a mixed household item sale – a little of this, a little of that 🙂
The sale will be held at a private residence – 749 Malone Rd.  Donations, of good condition-useable-clean items, will be accepted for drop off at the sale address the Friday before beginning at 2pm.

LADYSMITH WATERFRONT ART GALLERY:  Light Up the Night is looking for market vendors to be part our Night Market August 26, 2017 from 6:30 – 10:00 in Ladysmith. We supply the tents and tables and chairs. Yes there is power – you supply the extension cords and lights and products.
