Ladysmith Little Theatre presents “Old Love”
June 23 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 8:00pm, repeating until June 24, 2017
Many shows in the run received a huge standing ovation. Old Love is the winner of the south island zone festival and now it’s off to Main Stage in Vernon with LLT’s performance scheduled for July 7th. LLT is a non for profit society and in order to get our cast and crew to the provincial competition we need to fund raise.
– We have two fundraiser shows scheduled for June 23rd and 24th. Those who didn’t get a chance to see this wonderful show now have an opportunity to see it. Those who have seen it, tell your friends if you enjoyed the show to come and enjoy it or come and see it again.
– We are very proud and excited to have Ladysmith represented at the provincial level and hope you will join us in our journey to get there.
– BRAVO AND CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CAST & CREW OF Old Love for their outstanding wins at the South Island Zone Adjudication on May 27 in the following categories: Best Production: Old Love …. Best Director: Gord McInnis .. Best Actor: Christian Ostaffy ….. Best Lighting: Wendy Potter …
Old Love by Norm Foster
Directed by Gordon McInnis
The story spans three decades and half a dozen meetings between Bud, a salesman, and Molly, his boss’s wife. He’s recently divorced. She’s newly-widowed. At her husband’s funeral, an old acquaintance emerges to pay his respects, leading to a re-awakening of forgotten emotions.
This very funny play is written by Canada’s pre-imminent comic playwright, Norm Foster. His clever script will have audiences smiling, chuckling and laughing right out loud throughout the entire play.
